Q. Can we donate books to the library?
A. Yes, please submit a ticket to peopleandplaces@zendesk.com with your request.
Q. Can I bring my laptop into the library?
A. Yes, but we ask that you do not take phone calls or use Zoom in the room.
Q. Is the office open on holidays?
A. Most of our offices are open on holidays. Please check the Zendesk office locations hours and contact information article for information.
Q. Can we bring a visitor to the office?
A. Yes, they must sign in at the front desk using the Envoy system and wear a visitor sticker. Employees are responsible for their guests. Check this article for more details.
Q. Do we have an AED in the building, if so where is it located?
A. Yes, please refer to Envoy Desks maps for the location of AEDs in each office.
Q. I'm locked out of my locker. How do I get back in?
A. Please log a ticket with peopleandplaces@zendesk.com, and we will unlock it ASAP.
Q. Do I need to book the wellness room for my own workout?
A. No, while it is bookable for events we do not book reoccurring individual meetings in the room to keep the space as open as possible for all employees. That being said when there isn't something booked feel free to enjoy a little peace and quiet meditating or running through a couple of yoga poses.
Q. Is there a battery recycling box?
A. Yes, there are battery recycling boxes located in the supply areas.
Q. Is there a lost & found area?
A. Yes, please log a ticket with peopleandplaces@zendesk.com, and we will assist you.
Q. I lost/forgot my access card. What should I do?
A. For lost cards, please report it to Workplace Experience ASAP. If you forgot your card, please see reception to sign out a spare card.
Q. Is it possible to arrange a building tour of the office for non-Zendesk employees?
A. Yes, tours must happen during business hours, and the visitor must sign in at the front desk using the Envoy system. Check this article for more details. Workplace Experience will not be able to facilitate the tour.
Q. Do we have showers?
A. Showers are available at the majority of our offices. Please check the Office amenities article, and refer to SiQ for shower locations.
Q. Do we have towel service for the showers?
A. Please visit the article on Office amenities and seek the shower section on the chosen location.
Q. Do we have bike parking?
A. Please see the Parking & Bike Storage article for parking information.
Q. Where are office supplies located?
A. Please refer to Envoy Desks maps for the office supplies locations in each office.
Q. Where are the printers located?
A. Please refer to Envoy Desks maps for printer locations in each office.
Q. Are there parking garages nearby?
A. Yes, check the Parking & Bike Storage article for parking suggestions nearby the office.
Q. What is the capacity of each meeting room?
A. Please refer to Google Calendar to see the capacity of meeting rooms.
Q. Can I drink, eat food, or smoke on the terraces?
A. You can drink or eat food on the terraces. Smoking is not allowed on the entire Zendesk space or on the roof terraces as well.
Q. Can I request for the privacy panels at my workstation to be removed?
A. No, to align with the acoustic design of the office, these panels must stay in place.
Q. Is there a smoking area inside the office?
A. No, our offices are smoke-free and vape-free.
Q. Are pets allowed inside the office?
A. No. As much as we love to meet our furry friends, bringing a pet is not allowed. Please check the Zendesk animal policy for more information.
Q. Where can I collect my mail and packages?
A. All posts can be collected from the mail room. Please check the Office amenities article, and refer to SiQ for mail room locations.
Q. What is the contact number of the office? How can our banks contact the People Ops team for employment verification? (Manila only)
A. Our telephone numbers are (02) 8832 2656 and (02) 8886 3032. Please have your bank send an email to peopleandplaces@zendesk.com for employment verification.
Q. Are we allowed to wear shorts and slippers (flip-flops) in the building? (Manila only)
A. No. The Building Management Office has a strict protocol on this. This applies to your visitors as well.
Q. Can I bring in my personal sound system and catering during our team happy hour? (Manila only)
A. Yes, please include that when you submit a ticket to peopleandplaces@zendesk.com. The front desk will give you a gate pass and permit that you need to fill out with the details of the items you want to bring in. You may have to wait for the form to be signed by the BMO, so please create a ticket at least a week before your event.
Q. What are the Clinic hours? (Manila only)
A. Our Clinic is open from Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:30 pm.
Q. Can I use the rear elevators in the Madison office?
A. The rear freight elevators open into our secured office space. Due to the possibility of a security breach, we are asking that employees use passenger elevators 1 & 2 towards the capitol square and do not use the rear elevators, which are considered elevators 3 & 4.
